Stemming from a need for financial independence and the desire to be more successful, Brenda Engel and Nancy Shely (alias Ethel & Myrtle) launched their business in the spring of 1991. Starting with a line of their own designs, a limited budget and a lofty goal of $2,000 in monthly sales, these two women embarked on a new career. Exceeding their sales goals in two days, they jumped onto the fast track of success. In the spring of 2000, Rick Engel joined Ethel & Myrtle. In the fall of 2003 Kathryn Mathews joined Ethel & Myrtle. They are now a vital part of this successful business.
